For those wanting to do it all in a season, we have an option of the level 1 and level 2 combined. This sees you doing the Level 1 with us in Arinsal in December and then continuing with the level 2 training program in January.
We offer the most cost effective snowboarding courses out there. Our price includes all accommodation for up to 16 weeks - way more than any other provider you will find. Our amazing price also includes season lift pass, all training and exam fees and shadowing experience and employment opportunities in the future with the Arinsal Snowboard School.

3 Month
Instructor Course
The BASI Level 2 snowboard instructor course is aimed at riders who have already completed the level 1 course and are looking at taking the next step which qualifies you to work and teach on a mountain.
If you haven’t got your level 1 then click here to be taken to our Instructor Training page. Here you will find more details on completing this initial 4 day course with us either in the UK at one of the indoor centres or check our combined level 1 and 2 info above, to do it with us in Andorra.
As always our amazing price includes everything you need....with an optional extra like early arrival so you get to spend Christmas and New Year with us too.
The BASI Level 2 season course has been so popular due to the low price, that we now have the same training programs for budding Ski Instructors.

basi level 2 - Intensive
3 Week
Instructor Course
The course is ideal for people who cannot attend our 3 month program due to work or other commitments and for those who feel ready for the BASI level 2 but want the extra week of input and training prior to the exam. This shorter 3 week option has a level 2 preparation week prior to the 2 week exams.
Our course fee has EVERYTHING you need for the 3 weeks with us - airport transfers, lift pass, training and exam fee and half board hotel are all included. For more info download the brochure below.

3 Month
ISIA Instructor Course
With this new ISIA level 3 course, a whole new criteria has been created that allows level 2 instructors to acheive not only the higher 'level 3' status, but also the worldwide affiliation of the ISIA. A huge plus in your ability to gain work all over the world.
The course will be run alongside our level 2 Program. We have made it a FULL 3 months of training. This gives all level 3 candidates a totally unique opportunity to shadow and assist us with training and teaching of the level 2 candidates. You will even have the chance to shadow part of the actual BASI level 2 exams.
The course includes your tech and teach exams.

Having narrowly missed out on the techincal side of my Level 2 Instructor course in 2018, I decided to return in 2019 to do the season option combined with the 3 week option. The prep week before the exam was invaluable for putting myself in the right place for the start of the exam. I’m delighted to say, that this year I got the BASI handshake and a pass.
Vallnord is a brilliant area to ride in, with a great variety of terrain. Freeride on the Capa and in Arcalis, a brilliant park in Arinsal and the trees of Pal for when the clouds roll in. Snowboard Coach make it all so simple and I can’t thank them enough for a couple of incredible seasons and helping become a BASI Level 2 Snowboard Instructor!

I originally contacted Ash after hearing only good things from the other guys that I worked with at Castleford Snozone. Also having the convenience of all the important stuff being included in the package, it was a no brainer to go anywhere else.
Instructions on booking everything and arriving in Andorra were really easy to follow and made the whole thing stress free. The week of training before the exam was really valuable and meant we got to know the mountain as well as understand our own areas for improvement prior to the actual exam. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend booking with Ash and Snowboard Coach , whether it’s just for a riding week to improve your skills or to try and get your instructors qualifications....these guys know their stuff!

While taking my L1 Snowboard exam for my second discipline with Snowboard Coach, I realised how much I love to be on a snowboard.....
After a brief discussion with Ash my mind was made up, and I was all set for the Level 2 season programme in Arinsal. Ash and his crew guided us through every element of our training, setting us up well for the exam. Coaching sessions were well structured, with plenty of clear guidance and drills to practice in our own time.
It was a fantastic course, with great coaches and the Vallnord area is a superb resort to be in....Thanks to Snowboard Coach for making it happen.
UPDATE: I spent the past 2 seasons working full-time for Altitude in Grindlewald-Wengen in Switzerland. The training given by Snowboard Coach has given me so many more tools that just being able to pass the Level 2 alone. Beyond the course, Ash and the crew have been at the end of the phone for any challenges I’ve faced during my first seasons. These guys are awesome!

I’ve learned so much and developed my riding massively doing the Level 2 season programme with Ash and the Snowboard Coach crew.....
I’ve done a lot of seasons including the big name resorts, but this one was one of the best. I’ve met so may amazing people and had such a good time in Arinsal. Thanks Snowboard Coach for such an amazing season. Keep up the good work and ride on!
UPDATE: I worked a summer season at Afriski which was crazy - teaching snowboarding in a part of South Africa in the summer!! I’ve then spent last winter working as a snowboard instructor back in my home country of Sweden riding and teaching all season.

Absolutely loved my 3 weeks in Arinsal doing my Level 2. Ash and Snowboard Coach make everything easy so all you have to do is ride, learn and have fun...
You get excellent focused feedback that improves your riding day by day. The resort of Arinsal is perfect for training, with a quick turnaround on the runs so you can get your feedback and apply it straight away. Then at the end, I got the handshake, big smiles and super happy to say - the pass... Thanks to all the crew at Snowboard Coach for making this possible.

This was my fifth season away but my first time with Snowboach Coach - it was by far the best season I’ve ever done. The training was excellent...
Ash and the crew are amazing instructors and quickly spotted any bad habits in my riding, giving me advice on how to fix them. They continued to push my riding ability right up until the last day! The opportunity to coach people training for their Level 2 was also really helpful and helped me to reflect on how far I’d come since my own exam. Vallnord is also one of the best resorts I’ve visited. You can go riding on your own and by the end of the day there’s a crew of 10 people jibbing around the mountain. This feeling also translates off the mountain when you can’t walk down the street without bumping into friends. Plus the Snowboard Coach discounts at the bars makes for some interesting nights out! I’ll be back out next winter for more training - I loved it!

I had the best time training and riding with Ash and Chris and the boys on the L2 course out in Andorra. I learnt so much over the course and the frequent video feedback was super beneficial. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t easy but the hard work was fun and worth it when I looked back at my progress over the season and seeing how far Snowboard Coach had helped me come.
UPDATE: Since the course I’ve spent a season teaching in Japan and the last 2 seasons teaching in Canada. My dream was to teach all over the world and you guys made that come true - Thanks Snowboard Coach!!!

I spent the winter 15/16 season undertaking the Snowboard Coach level 2 training and exam in Arinsal Andorra. It was an epic experience!
The coaching was superb and really prepared me for the exam. Living alongside others on the course built a great supportive team. Would definitely recommend this training - challenging but ensures you reach your full potential and fully prepares you to be a damn good instructor in the years to come! I’ve landed a job this summer coaching at Hemel Snow Centre and I’m sending CV’s all over the world for next winter...

The course was great, I really felt that Ash and the SBcoach crew knew their stuff and I could honestly feel my riding and teaching skills getting better each day. Having done my Level 1 with Ash and the Snowboard Coach I’d know them for years and liked their style. The price of the package was great and for me getting the best training, best advice and the experience of the season was more than worth it.
Most of the riding is that...riding. It made me realise it’s not about being a robot it’s about flow and interpreting the fundamentals to how they suit me. To go out and just do what feels right.
My riding felt a million times smoother and I knew what I need to work on to pass the exams.
I went onto pass the Level 3 and I wouldn’t have achieved that without Ash and the guys at Snowboard Coach.

2 years after doing the Level 2 season program with Snowboard Coach I have worked as an instructor in the UK, Canada and Australia. I then decided to have a go at the Level 3 and knew that training with Ash and the crew was the best way to give myself a solid chance at passing. As I expected every session was hugely beneficial and I was very clear on what needed to be worked on to get to the level 3 standard. The teaching sessions and shadowing the Level 2 training days to develop my eye and assess other peoples riding, was a massively helpful tool unique to the training Snowboard Coach is able to offer.
I was successful first time round passing the L3. I am currently working back in Australia in the summer and going to Japan for the northern hemisphere season...
None of this would have been possible without Snowboard Coach who have been there from the L1 to L3, and I am sure I will be hassling Ash for more help when needed in the future!
