Gav's Profile:
Gavin has been riding for over 13 years. He started skiing at the age of 10 and ended up learning to snowboard whilst on skiing holidays and never looked back. He worked at the Nevis Range, Glenshee and Hillend Dry slope before spending a few winters in Andorra and Canada. Gav then spent a few years working at Milton Keynes and was in charge of the snowboard School there from 2002 until 2004. Gav left MK to pursue the offer of coaching some of Britain's most promising riders, something he did with great success. He was the British World Cup Team Coach for 3 years, which saw him traveling all over the globe, with the team competing against some of the world's best riders. The highlight being at the last winter Olympics in Turino. Recently too much traveling and not enough riding made him look elsewhere for work. He is now a freelance coach working in France and Bulgaria with Method. Gav is also an Instructor trainer for Snowsport Scotland and Snowsport
England and the Irish Association.
