Chris Skinner - Coach Profile
Chris has been riding for 10 years, starting out instructing back in the season of 2001. Since then Chris has taken many courses and exams and has trained in both the Canadian and British system. With eight full seasons of teaching, Chris brings has a wealth of knowledge and experience to every session he runs.
He has known Ash since 2003 and spent the season 2008 with him in Bansko training in preparation for his BASI ISIA level 3 (the highest level attainable). Since passing this top level course in 2009, along with only one other person, he is now back in Bansko working closely with Ash and the rest of the Snowboard Coach team running performance courses and the BASI Level 2 gap program.
Chris is also a Level 2 Freestyle coach and a qualified mountain safety leader.
In the summer months you’ll find Chris coaching surfing throughout Europe and can be found as far a field as the Maldives.
