Alec Kent - Coach Profile
Alec first strapped on a snowboard at Halifax Dry Ski Slope approximately 10 years ago (he can't remember the exact details)!. Alec does know that he started Snowboarding seriously in October 2003 when Castleford Xscape Indoor Snow slope opened. Riding at Cas until he passed his Level 1 course in 2004, where he met Ash who was delivering the course. He then started teaching full time at the slope.

Since then he has spent 2 seasons with Ash in Bansko and has gone on to gain the highest level attainable in the BASI system. He now divides his time helping run the Snowboard Coach program at Cas coaching both performance courses and freestyle coaching and out in Bansko with the level 2 gap program. His knowledge and love of snowboarding also see's Alec working in the Snowboard Asylum in Cas when in the UK.
